Chef David Garlinge from South Shields, now lives in Darlington & has been cooking around the UK and abroad for over 16 years. He has trained to Michelin level under some of the finest UK chefs including Gordon Ramsey, Jason Atherton and James Close. David also reached the semifinals competing on Master Chef in 2013.
Today, David keeps himself extremely busy as a Private Chef, working for Saudi Arabia Royalty to promoting Great British products such as Loch Duat Salmon abroad.
David is proud to be an Ambassador for The Burnt Chef Project which launched in May 2019. It is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise with sole intentions to eradicate mental health stigma in the hospitality industry.
Saltfish is delighted to host an evening of seafood extravaganza with a fine dining tasting menu, with canapes, curated by David to help raise awareness & donations for The Burnt Chef Project. The evening is £65pp (20% of the total bill to be donated to the project) and the menu can be found HERE.
